A special interview – the interviewer is at the top of her game and asks the most perceptive questions. So the talk + the music makes for a special treat

I heard this wonderful choir rehearse for their Toronto engagement this afternoon. There is a reason why Stephen Darlington is so highly regarded. He is able to let every chorister sing as they would sing and fine tune all those individual voices to create this exquisite choral sound. They do not rely on an expansive acoustic, although the cathedral is a lovely home for any choir. I have heard so many choirs -the best- and this is a unique ensemble. CC Cathedral Choir sing with an incredible sense of spirituality that gives the music its full head. The Robert Parsons Ave Maria deserves wider exposure. I am so grateful to have heard this exquisite choir in a live setting. So tasteful and so musical. Thank you Christ Church CC!
